Interpreter Kiosk

In an effort to diversify the method of language communication, we have developed the 'Interpreter Kiosk', which forms part of the next evolution in the provision of Language Services.

This new revolutionary initiative is exclusive to VITS LanguageLink.

We recognised that a new method of providing interpreting services to non-metropolitan areas was urgently required and one of the main drivers was the acknowledgement that our regional and rural communities are diversifying.

With these changes, the practicality in providing local based interpreters was becoming increasingly difficult and not always possible and there was a real need to remedy the situation. VITS' Interpreter Kiosk was developed with these specific needs and considerations in mind.

The benefits of the Kiosk are numerous as organisations can now have access to over 1000 interpreters that are highly qualified and fully accredited in over 110 languages regardless of your location. This will eliminate the risk of engaging unaccredited and unqualified interpreters.

The Interpreter Kiosk works by embracing state-of-the-art technology (internet based web-cam), which delivers a real time video link (with a touch screen interface) between the client and the interpreter. The process is entirely face-to-face via the Kiosk.
