Multilingual Telephone Services
Our Multilingual Information Service allows non-English speaking callers to listen to information messages in their own language assigned to a particular telephone number and select to connect to the service provider (e.g. City Council) with an interpreter on line.
This allows callers to directly access information in their own language without having to go through an operator. Callers hear pre-recorded information in their language of preference, consisting of a single message or selection of messages with a user-select option, allowing callers to choose particular information that interests them.
