Multilingual Information Line & LanguageLink

LanguageLink is our renowned computerised automated telephone system, developed exclusively by VITS LanguageLink, to provide clients either with their own multilingual pre-recorded information service in over one hundred languages, or direct access to an interpreter.

Pre-recorded information messages are assigned a particular telephone line in each language. This brilliant service allows culturally and linguistically diverse callers to directly access the information they need in their own language without first having to go through an operator or interpreter.

Moreover, callers can hear a pre-recorded information message or set of messages in their preferred language, that includes a user-select option for callers to choose particular information of interest to them. Callers may choose to have the information repeated at any stage or at the conclusion of the message.

After having listened to the message, the caller may wish to speak directly to the service provider (e.g. the Australian Electoral Commission) for any further information or service. At this point the system is capable of transferring the call to the service provider and simultaneously connect out to an interpreter, to assist the two parties to communicate.

LanguageLink is supported by an extensive data bank that maintains all call information, providing our clients with accurate reports, designed to monitor the success rate of the service, marketing and public relations campaign.
