Interpreting

Interpreting involves the verbal rendition of one language into another and vice versa to facilitate spoken communication between parties, who speak two different languages.

In Australia the language combination is generally English and any of the other 156 languages spoken. Some interpreters may interpret in more than two languages, but this is not possible simultaneously.

VITS LanguageLink Contract Interpreters hold professional accreditation and above obtained from the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI), in languages currently available for testing. Our interpreters are skilled and trained to interpret on-site at your nominated venue or via our LanguageLink Telephone Interpreting Service.
